lovelight

here i am again.

in warm, wet whispers
you call to me.
with your siren song
you swallow me.
how many tears
are you made of?
and how many more
can you hold?
i suppose we both
shall simply have to
wait
and see.

in your watery arms
i surrender
knowing-
the deep darkness of you
could drown me,
and the force of you
could carry me
far, far away.
but it’s your light
you chose to show me!
or, your light i chose to see…
infinite tiny suns
illuminating
the uncertain shadows
of me.

in a timeless space
you hold me.
in a wordless embrace
you told me
there is beauty
in the murky depths of me,
and strength
in the tears that flow.
you are my mirror,
a reflection
of my lost
and found
soul.

indebted,
a promise...
everyone with eyes
will see
your river of love
that now runs
through me.
the world would be
healed overnight
from one drop
of your moon river
lovelight.

(for the moon river - a magical place on earth that saved my life, and helped me piece myself back together again)
